Our Staff

Casey is a native of Perry Twp., Clarion County, Parker, PA. He is a 2010 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School, a 2014 graduate of Thiel College, earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration, a 2015 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science earning his Associates of Specialized Technology Degree in Funeral Arts and Sciences, and a 2021 graduate of Thiel College earning his Masters of Business Administration. 

Casey resides in Meadville with his sons, Conrad & Callahan. Casey is a member of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie. 

Casey is a member of Rotary International, Mercer, social member of the Stoneboro Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the  Lions Club International,  and is a member of the Lake Lodge #434 F&AM. Casey also serves as a Deputy County Coroner for Venango County.

In his spare time, Casey enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, taking part in community events, and spending time with his boys.

Scott A. Black began the funeral homes at the Stoneboro Location in October of 1996. He and his wife Lisa served the Lakeview and surrounding areas from Stoneboro until 2005 when he purchased the previous McMullen Funeral Home in Sandy Lake. Serving the area from both locations.

In 2018 Scott entered into his retirement. He continues to keep his Funeral Directors License active as well as his Insurance License and serves as the licensed supervisor for the Stoneboro Location.

Scott can be seen assisting Casey and the other staff members when needed.

Amber (Baker) Rice is a native of Franklin, PA, she is a 2007 graduate of Franklin Area High School. She previously worked as a Legal Secretary for Wilson, Thompson, & Cisek in Franklin for several years. As our Operations Manager, Amber runs the day-to-day administrative tasks, and is a Notary Public. She is also a Certified Crematory Operator and can be seen assisting with visitations and funerals. Amber resides in Sandy Lake, with her husband Jeff Rice and their children, Rhenn and Tripp.

Madeline is a native of Meadville, PA. She is a 2021 graduate of Meadville High School. Madeline has her Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Gannon University. She is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science (PIMS).

Madeline can be seen assisting with services.

Jeffrey L. Rice, Jr. is a native of Clarks Mills and a 2003 graduate of Commodore Perry High School. He is the son of Jeffrey Sr. and Renee Rice. 

Jeff grew up working for his family business, County Line Cafe in Sheakleyville and worked for Event Link as a Logistics Manager for many years before joining the Rose Simplicity Team. 

Jeff serves as our Certified Crematory Operator and can also be seen assisting on visitations and funerals. 

Jeff lives in Mercer County with his wife, Amber, and daughter Rhenn.
